What we build

What we build, and what it takes.

Starlight headliners, custom headlights and taillights, ambient LED, and full leather interiors. All of it built in one bay in Danbury. All of it quoted before a panel comes off the car.

The work

Four services, in plain terms.

Every one of them runs through the same shop and the same rule: we look at the car, we name the materials, and you get a fixed number before anything comes apart.

Starlight Headliners

Hundreds of fiber-optic points placed one at a time into a re-wrapped ceiling, lit by a remote engine that never warms the fabric. Most owners land between 200 and 400 points, but the count matters less than the layout: density carries the eye, and a roof built from more than one fiber diameter reads deeper than a grid of identical dots. Shooting stars, custom constellations, colour change, remote or app control. The headliner goes back in the factory material, Alcantara, or leather, and most vehicles are with us two to four days — most of which is adhesive curing at its own pace.

Custom Auto Lighting

Halo and projector retrofits, DRL rebuilds, sequential indicators, and taillight work. Housings get baked open, worked, and resealed properly so they do not fog in the first winter. Nothing red or blue to the front. Nothing that flashes.

Upholstery & Interiors

Seats, door cards, dashboards, armrests, and steering wheels rebuilt on the bench. Hides read for grain and stretch before they are cut, edges skived thin where they wrap, collapsed foam rebuilt before a single panel goes back on.

Ambient Lighting

Footwell, door card, and dash LED on switched and fused circuits, diffused so you see the glow and never the diode. App or factory control, looms sleeved and clipped, no rattles when the door shuts.

How it goes

From photos to handover

01

Look

Send photos and the year, make, and model, or drive it over. We read the roof, the panels, and the loom before anyone says a number.

02

Quote

One fixed figure with the materials named: star count, hide, LED colour, control method. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it.

03

Build

Panels out, work done on the bench, wiring on switched and fused circuits, every piece test-fitted before final assembly.

04

Handover

We walk the car with you. Starlight goes back after dark, because a ceiling full of stars in daylight tells you nothing.

Straight answers

Before you book a slot

Yes, and it is usually the cheaper way to do it. Half the cost of interior work is teardown. If the seats are already out for upholstery work, the headliner comes down easier and the ambient loom runs behind panels that are off anyway. Doing the ceiling and the interior together means paying for that teardown once instead of twice.

A starlight headliner is two to four days for most vehicles. Ambient lighting is usually a day. Headlight work depends on whether the housings have to be baked open and resealed, which adds a day on its own. A full leather interior is the long one, and we quote it in weeks rather than days, because hides and foam set the pace and adhesive cures on its own schedule.

We build to that assumption. Nothing we fit shows red or blue to the front, nothing flashes, and headlight work keeps a proper beam cutoff so you are not blinding oncoming traffic. Show-only lighting such as underglow gets its own switch so it stays off when the car is moving. If you ask for something that crosses a line, we will tell you before you pay rather than after.

Sometimes. Bring it and we will look at it. The usual problems are fiber that is too short to reach the far corners, too few strands to fill a roof, and an engine that is only bright on day one. Our labour costs the same either way, and we cannot stand behind parts we did not supply, so we will tell you honestly whether the kit is worth fitting or whether that money belongs in the build instead.
